Ramp the Cause, a global fashion fundraiser initiative by Sanrakshan Pte Ltd, India was recently held in Mumbai.
The fundraiser is hosted by Dr. Vani Khare, Founder, Sanrakshan Pvt Ltd. Singapore along with NGO Faith Foundation.
The objective is for people associated with the cause to walk the ramp to represent the causes that they strongly feel for.
“Who says raising awareness can only be done by protesting! Make the cause shine by bringing your inner beauty, grace, and light on the ramp”, announced the host for the evening.
“With Ramp the Cause, we aspire to highlight multiple socio issues plaguing our society which is aimed towards prevention, protection, equality, sustainability, and empowerment of women and children,” said Dr. Vani Khare. “Through this event, we raise fund to support the vision of Sanrakshan and create safe spaces for 25 million children by 2025.”
All the fund raised through Ramp the Cause India, goes to their non-profit wing Faith Foundation trust that works towards the prevention of childhood sexual abuse in India along with 5 other causes which are Women for wildlife, Child Abuse and Neglect, Shattering the glass ceiling, He for She, Individual for relationships, and Breaking the gender Barrier.
The event is organized & conceptualized by BrandzzUp International. Celebrities present at the event included Dheeraj Dhoopar, Vinny Arora, Arshi Khan, Designer Neerushaa Nikhat, Karan Singh Prince, Designer Sabyasachi Sathpathi, Anara Gupta, Richa Sony, UK Idol winner Harshdeep Kaur, Zuber K Khan, Shreyas Porus Pardiwala and Rohan Pratap Singh Choudhary.
Team member and Jury Madhu HS, Divya BM, Barnali, Gayathri Suresh were also present at the do.
